I'm Shirley, and I'm a motion designer and illustrator who works mostly in short-form animation and visual storytelling. I’m currently pursuing a degree in Art and Design: Games & Playable Media at the University of California, Santa Cruz, which influences how I think about structure, pacing, and how visuals connect with people. Even outside of games, I’m drawn to systems, whether that’s how animation flows, how edits land, or how a piece builds rhythm over time.
A lot of my work comes from collaborative projects, where making images spin in sync to music feels like an art form in itself. I also enjoy drawing and digital illustration.
I primarily work in After Effects, with occasional help from Photoshop and Procreate!
